About Me

Marc Sherwin, MD is an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. Dr. Sherwin graduated from both college and medical school from the Honors Program in Medicine at the University of Miami. He completed internship and residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Sherwin specializes in neuroanesthesiology, OB anesthesia, as well as, colorectal surgical cases. He is Director of Marketing and Communications for the Department of Anesthesiology, as well as, Associate Program Director of the Residency Training Program at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Sherwin is the Course Director for the Introduction to Internship 4th year medical school course. Dr. Sherwin is certified in Point-Of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for which he also teaches the PGY-1 clinical rotation and has presented at national and international meetings.
