About Me
Dr. Maria Vissicchio has been in practice as a radiologist for over 20 years. After graduating from her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Vissicchio attended Stony Brook University School of Medicine for her doctorate. She then went on to complete an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Winthrop University Hospital before returning to Stony Brook for her Diagnostic Radiology residency. With her certification by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Vissicchio's focus is on breast imaging.
Within her professional community, Dr. Vissicchio is an active member of the American College of Radiology, as well as the Society of Breast Imaging.
