Mariel Gallego, Ph.D. is a supervising psychologist at the Institute for Advanced Medicine at Mount Sinai Morningside and Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the New School for Social Research and completed her pre-doctoral internship and dual psychology fellowship in Addictions and Personality Disorders at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in NYC. Dr. Gallego has a certificate in Relational Psychotherapy from the Steven Mitchell Center and is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, trained by Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach through the Awareness Training Institute and the University of California at Berkeley Greater Good Science Center.
