About Me
Dr. Mark Goldman has been in practice as a Cardiologist since 2012. After graduating with his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Goldman completed his residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital - Manhasset. He then completed his Cardiology Research at St. Francis Hospital and his fellowship in Cardiology at Stony Brook University Medical Center. In addition to his certifications by The American Board of Cardiovascular Disease, Dr. Goldman holds a certification in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Goldman also began his time as a Mount Sinai Cardiologist in 2012 with his specialties including hypertension, valve disease, and the effects of sleep apnea on the heart. When working with patients, Dr. Goldman aims to treat the cause of the problem rather than focusing solely on the effect, as he believes that everything in the body happens for a reason.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
