About Me
Mary Weng, MD, MPH, is a General Pediatrician at Mount Sinai Doctors Faculty Practice Associates and a Certified Lactation Counselor.
Dr. Weng received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with distinction in the major and her master’s degree in Public Health from Yale University. She received her medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
During residency, Dr. Weng was passionate about family-centered care, effective care coordination, and culturally responsive care. She participated in quality improvement research aimed at improving communications at the time of hospital discharge.
Dr. Weng also has experience in global health and has participated in clinical and research activities in Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Kenya, and Peru. Her other interests include early childhood development, social determinants of health, and medical education.
Clinical Focus:
Dr. Weng’s clinical foci include acute illness care, annual pediatric checkup, breastfeeding support, developmental screening, immunizations, mental health screening, nutritional screening, and well childcare.
