Podiatry
About Me
Dr. Maryana Kotynkevych joined Mount Sinai Doctors in 2023 as a Podiatrist. After completing her undergraduate studies at Hunter College, Dr. Kotynkevych earned her medical degree from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She then moved to Mount Sinai Beth Israel for her residency in Podiatric Medicine, where she acted as Chief Podiatry Resident in her final year. With her board certification from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Kotynkevych's clinical interests include diabetic wound care, surgery, trauma, and sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Kotynkevych is multi-lingual and can communicate with her patients in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
When discussing her time as a physician and practicing medicine, Dr. Kotynkevych explains, "I strongly believe in treating patients the same way I would want my family to be treated." She provides exceptional compassionate care which includes spending time with her patients, building trust, explaining their conditions/treatment plans, and tailoring each treatment that is best suitable for each patient.
Outside of her time with patients, Dr. Kotynkevych enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family and mini goldendoodle, Lulu.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Industry Relationships
Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. In order to promote an ethical and transparent environment for conducting research, providing clinical care and teaching, Mount Sinai requires that salaried faculty inform the School of their outside financial relationships.
Dr. Kotynkevych has not yet completed reporting of Industry relationships.
Mount Sinai’s faculty policies relating to faculty collaboration with industry are posted on our website. Patients may wish to ask their physician about the activities they perform for companies.
