Dr. Masako Chen is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery. She performs cataract surgeries, ocular surface reconstruction, and corneal transplantation.
She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where she served as Chief Resident and received the Austin T Gray Memorial Scholarship Award. Dr. Chen then completed her fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Chen is the author of multiple book chapters and publications. She is also committed to resident and medical student education and serves as the Director of Comprehensive Eye Clinic.
