About Me
Maurice Policar completed medical school at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico and his Internal Medicine residency training at City Hospital Center at Elmhurst (now NYC Health + Hospitals / Elmhurst). He completed his Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (Now the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in 1991. A large portion of his academic and medical career has been focused in the area of HIV.
