Max Dougherty, MD, PhD, is Instructor of Medicine (Hematology and Medical Oncology). Dr. Dougherty earned his MD/PhD from the University of Washington School of Medicine. He completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Dougherty conducts research on hematologic malignancies with a focus on MDS, MPN, and other myeloid malignancies, and provides care on the inpatient leukemia service at The Mount Sinai Hospital.
