About Me
Dr. Megan Andrews is an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. She completed residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania and fellowship training in Brain Injury Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Andrews is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is eligible for board certification in Brain Injury Medicine.
Dr. Andrews cares for patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. As a physiatrist, she works to maximize quality of life for those living with severe injuries and disabilities. She has special interests in brain injury and patient advocacy. She works closely with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, recreational therapists, neuropsychologists, and other medical and surgical specialists in order to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and equitable care.
