Dr. Israelovitch is an Attending psychiatrist on the dual diagnosis inpatient unit, a supervisor within the addiction psychiatry fellowship program and an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Israelovitch was the Director of Psychiatry and Mental Health Services at The Floating Hospital, a non-profit organization providing care to homeless families from 2007 to 2010.
She received her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2002 and completed both her residency in psychiatry and her fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
She is a candidate in the Psychoanalytic Certificate program at the William Alanson White Institute, and prior to beginning her analytic training, Dr. Israelovitch completed the Institute's Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program.
