Dr. Robinson-Brown earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology,
with a child and family subspecialty, from Loyola University in Chicago. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Clinical
Psychology Internship on the Child/Adolescent track at NYU Child Study
Center/Bellevue Hospital Center. Her
primary research interests focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and intervention with
adolescents and young adults. Dr.
Robinson-Brown was a Staff Psychologist and Clinical Instructor at New York
Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center for two and a half
years before joining the Mt Sinai Hospital Faculty. As a part of the Mount Sinai Adolescent
Health Center, Dr. Robinson-Brown provides individual, group, and family
therapy as well as psychological testing for the adolescent population. In addition, she has begun implementation of
an Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills Group. Dr.
Robinson-Brown is a clinical supervisor in the APA Accredited Clinical
Psychology Pre-Doctoral Internship Program and for the Psychology Externship
Program. She is an active member of the
American Psychological Association and an American Psychological Association
Minority Fellowship Alumnus.
