Dr. Krikhely received his medical degree at the Medical Institute in Tbilisi, USSR. He completed a residency program in General Surgery at The Department of Surgery SUNY at Stony Brook, NY in 1991 and opened his private surgical practice. Since that time he has been working as an attending physician in the largest hospitals of New York City. He is a fellow of American College of Surgeons.
In the year of 2006 he joined Mount Sinai Beth Israel and became Chief of Surgical Department of Mount Sinai Brooklyn and Vice Chairman of Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He also maintains his own large private practice.
Dr. Krikhely has authored a few peer-reviewed articles in the world recognized Medical Journals.
