About Me
Meredith A. Wilkes, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital and the Medical Director of the Pediatric Diabetes Center.
Dr. Wilkes graduated with a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Columbia College and received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency training at NYU School of Medicine and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia Medical Center. As a fellow, she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her clinical work.
Dr. Wilkes’ research has focused on body composition evaluations in children as well as late effects of pediatric cancer treatments. She is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology.

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
