Meridith Messinger, MD is a board-certified pediatrician at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Monday - Saturday in Brooklyn Heights. Trained in Washington, DC and New York, she is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She was awarded her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Pediatrics at Children's National Medical Center. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, she served as the Director of the Undergraduate Medical Education and the Associate Residency Program Director for the SUNY Downstate Department of Pediatrics at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Messinger was also the founder and first medical director of Reach Out and Read, a national project designed to promote early childhood literacy through routine doctor’s office visits. She has a particular interest in breastfeeding, child development, international adoption, and common behavioral problems. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Lawrence Wolf, MD, and their three children.
