About Me
Mia Bates, MD, is a clinical instructor at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital in the department of newborn medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Oberlin College. Between college and medical school, she was a clinical research coordinator in the NICU at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She got her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her pediatric residency training at Mount Sinai. Dr. Bates's clinical interests include improving neonatal resuscitation through simulation practice and providing family centered care to critically ill and well infants alike.
