About Me

Michael Hadley, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Fuster Heart Hospital at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He holds a joint appointment with the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health and also serves as Associate Program Director for the cardiovascular fellowship. Dr. Hadley earned his MD and MPH degrees from Harvard University. He completed his clinical training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Advanced Cardiac Imaging at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Dr. Hadley specializes in multimodality cardiovascular imaging and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, and Nuclear Cardiology. He attends on the inpatient cardiology services and holds regular clinic hours. He believes in a personalized approach to patient care within the framework of guideline-directed medical therapy.

Dr. Hadley's research focuses on cardiac imaging, as well as the impact of environmental exposures on cardiovascular health. He is an investigator on multiple NIH-funded projects investigating the cardiovascular effects of air pollution. He has authored several book chapters and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he is a consultant and advisor on global health policy, currently serving on the World Heart Federation Air Pollution Expert Group.
