About Me
Doctor Loshigian is a board certified Podiatric Foot and Ankle surgeon at Mount Sinai Doctors. He earned his BS in Biological Sciences, with honors, from the State University of New York. He then completed the Doctor of Podiatric Medicine program with high honors, in 1993 from the Wm. M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. Returning to New York, he completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an academic affiliate of the Weil Cornell Medical College.
Dr. Loshigian's practice is limited to Podiatry & Reconstructive Foot Surgery. He is a Clinical Instructor at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC
A meticulous and innovative surgeon, Dr. Loshigian offers his patients the latest in surgical techniques. His goals are to provide them the fastest possible recovery, a minimum of discomfort, and return to normal function. Dr. Loshigian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He also is a member of the NY State Board for Podiatry which advises the NY State Education Department on matters of licencing and professional discipline.
Dr. Loshigian's interests include complex reconstructive foot surgery, revision surgery, bunions, tendon and ligament injuries, hallux rigidus and arthritis of the foot and ankle, custom foot orthotics, diabetes related foot disease, and children's foot problems.
The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page. This allows Florida patients who are receiving medical care by telehealth to confirm the provider’s licensure and Florida registration.
