Michael Bagner, MD is a board-certified internist specializing in primary care at Mount Sinai Doctors in New York City. He brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to general internal medicine, grounded in evidence-based medicine and a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
Dr. Bagner earned his undergraduate degree with honors from Rutgers University and received his medical degree from Rutgers- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, located at Staten Island University Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Bagner held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center.
His clinical style is distinguished by empathetic listening, thoughtful diagnostics, and a willingness to think creatively to meet the unique needs of each patient.
The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page. Physicians and scientists on the faculty of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai often interact with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology companies, and other outside entities to improve patient care, develop new therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs.
