Michael Thompson, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Newborn Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai West. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Residency as well as his Neonatology Fellowship at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Dr. Thompson is currently a neonatologist at Mount Sinai West Hospital and has a clinical interest in neonatal resuscitation and the respiratory care of preterm infants.
