Miodrag Velickovic, MD

Miodrag Velickovic M.D., assistant professor of neurology, is an attending physician at the Robert and John M. Bendheim Parkinson and Movement Disorder Center. Dr. Velickovic completed his neurology residency at the New York University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident; he completed his movement disorder fellowship at Mount Sinai.   Dr. Velickovic is committed to provide outstanding care to patients with Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia, Wilson’s disease, and other movement disorders. He focuses on matching the best medical treatments with individual wellness and lifestyle.   In addition to patient care, he has been the principal investigator, and co-investigator for multiple clinical trials in Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, and Wilson’s disease. Dr. Velickovic has coauthored articles and book chapters on movement disorders, and has participated in education of fellows, residents, and medical students in movement disorders.   Dr. Velickovic offers telemedicine appointments when appropriate.  Please call his office to schedule a video visit.   The state of Florida requires out-of-state professionals who are registered to provide telehealth services to display a hyperlink to the Florida Department of Health telehealth web page.
