About Me
Mira Chaykin, MD, is an Assistant Professor practicing general pediatrics in the School Based Health Program in the Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Chaykin graduated with a B.S. in Biology with Honors from Brandeis University and received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She then completed her pediatric residency training at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital where she was the recipient of the Resident Clinician Teaching Award. Dr. Chaykin is passionate about nutrition education and food accessibility, and is an advocate for better access to nutritious foods at home and in school for all children.
