Sleep Medicine
About Me
Mira Tadros, DO is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She serves as Director of the Mount Sinai Sleep and Weight Integrated Management Program and is board certified in both Sleep Medicine and Obesity Medicine, offering a unique clinical perspective at the intersection of sleep disorders, obesity, and metabolic disease.
Dr. Tadros joined Mount Sinai in 2023 after two years in private practice. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, her Internal Medicine residency at UCSF Fresno, and her fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Stanford University.
Through the Sleep and Weight Integrated Management Program, Dr. Tadros cares for a large and diverse patient population with obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, emphasizing the bidirectional relationship between sleep health and metabolic function. Her approach incorporates evidence-based pharmacologic therapies including GLP-1 receptor agonists and dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonists such as tirzepatide into individualized treatment plans alongside comprehensive sleep care.
Dr. Tadros is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and contributes to initiatives integrating obesity medicine into sleep medicine practice. Her clinical and academic interests center on advancing multidisciplinary strategies to improve outcomes for patients living with both obesity and sleep disorders.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
