Molly Sherb, PhD
Dr. Sherb is a NYS licensed psychologist currently practicing at the Mount Sinai Health Center in Hudson Yards. Dr. Sherb received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in New York. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Mount Sinai St. Luke's working with children, teens and their families and completed her fellowship at the Mount Sinai St. Luke's CARES (Comprehensive Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education Service) program where she further specialized in clinical work with teens and their families. Dr. Sherb has worked in a variety of settings including, but not limited to, college counseling centers, community mental health clinics, and hospitals both on the outpatient and inpatient units. She has worked with individuals across the lifespan including young children, adolescents and adults. She works in a variety of treatment modalities including individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as crisis management. Dr. Sherb works from an integrated treatment approach incorporating CBT, mindfulness and psychodynamic elements into the treatment. She has clinical experience in the following areas: anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, trauma, identity development, relationship issues, and emotion regulation. Dr. Sherb also teaches masters and doctoral level counseling students at Fordham University and is currently engaged in research focusing on the emerging adult population.
