Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Wonderful experience with Dr. Malek!
Dr Malek felt very rushed- I had various questions and she seemed eager to conclude our appointment. She ended the appointment directly even though I had more questions. Before even examining me she had concluded on what my issue was which while fine if she's correct makes me pause. I would encourage her to pause more and ask if there's more questions. Even if she sees the same issues on a daily basis it could be brand new to someone and that level of care/patience should be shown by doctors
Good experience
