About Me
Dr. Natalie K. Smith, MD is an Associate Professor in Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine. She recieved a B.S. from the University of Michigan and M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Liver Transplant Anesthesiology at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is the Director of the Liver Transplant Anesthesiology Division and the Fellowship Director for Liver Transplant Anesthesiology. Dr. Smith is the Medical Director of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. Her research interests include liver transplant anesthesiology outcomes, risk stratification, and transfusion. She is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and is Board Certified in Basic Transesophageal Echocardiography.
