About Me
Natalie Tanya Ohly MD MSc is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Complex Family Planning subspecialist at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical interests include abortion, contraception, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, threatened periviable delivery and contemplative care.
Dr. Ohly earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she was awarded the John B. Franklin, MD Award for Resident Best Exemplifying Dedication, Compassion, and Humanitarianism and the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching award. Dr. Ohly went on to receive her Masters of Science in Epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University while completing her fellowship in Complex Family Planning.
Dr. Ohly has been published and has lectured extensively on HIV and contraception, management of unintended and abnormal pregnancy, threatened periviable delivery, and global reproductive health initiatives.
Before coming to Mount Sinai, Dr Ohly served as the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Division Director of Complex Family Planning at NYC H+H Kings County where she started a Ryan Residency Training Program to teach residents and medical students about abortion and contraception. Dr. Ohly is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Family Planning. She is committed to excellence in clinical care and teaching with a special focus on enhancing the doctor-patient relationship.
Dr. Ohly is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a member of the Society of Family Planning.
