Dr. Barzideh Graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University at Syracuse in 2001, completed her Intership year at Westchester Medical Center and completed her Ophthalmology Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn in 2005. She completed her Fellowship in Vitreo-retinal Surgery at Bert Glaser National Retina Institute in Maryland in 2007 and moved back to Tristate area to practice Vitreo-retinal Surgery. She has been a voluntary surgeon at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai since 2010, and She has been in practice on various locations on Long Island in 2010. Dr. Barzideh has extensive experience in treatment of medical and surgical conditions of retina, such as diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, tears, macular holes and Epiretinal membranes. She has held academic positions in various institutions including Winthrop University Hospital, and has been a Voluntary Surgeon at Syosset Hospital and other Northwell Hospitals. She has practiced her subpeciality with different Private organizations prior to joining Facaulty of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
