Dr. Neelima Nadella has practiced Cardiology since 2014. After completing her undergraduate studies at Duke University, Dr. Nadella graduated with her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She then moved to the University of Illinois at Chicago for her residency in Internal Medicine where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. To finish her training, Dr. Nadella completed two fellowships at Henry Ford Hospital in General Cardiology, where she served as Chief Cardiology Fellow, and Interventional Cardiology, respectively. With her board certifications in Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Nadella specializes in interventional cardiology, prevention of cardiovascular disease, and patient education.
Before joining Mount Sinai in 2019, Dr. Nadella cared for veterans at Bay Pines Veterans Hospital in Florida. She currently holds fellowship status in the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. She has also given several presentations in her field and earned the Frances Fernandes Fellowship Award for Outstanding Effort and Commitment to Scholarship and Professional Excellence in 2013.
Outside of her time with patients, Dr. Nadella enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, exploring the world and different cultures, and trying new things.
