About Me
Dr. Neelima Panth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai. She obtained her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She then completed her residency training in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. As Chief Resident, she was honored by the Yale Surgical Society with the Deepak Narayan award for an outstanding graduating surgical resident.
Dr. Panth provides comprehensive medical and surgical care across the spectrum of pediatric and adult ENT disease. She is passionate about providing patient-centered care and strives to offer evidence-based treatment options for her patients. She has conducted extensive research in the fields of otolaryngology and public health, ranging from barriers to care among head and neck cancer patients to optimizing access to hearing rehabilitation. Her work has been published in JAMA Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, The Laryngoscope, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Journal of Clinical Oncology. She has also presented at numerous conferences with her work having been showcased among the top scientific oral presentations at the annual Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery meeting.
