Neha R Bhardwaj, MD, MS
Neha Bhardwaj MD, MPH, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist with subspecialty training in Complex Family Planning. Dr. Bhardwaj holds an appointment as Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She also serves as Medical Director of Family Planning, Ryan Residency Training Program Director, and Associate Residency Program Director at Mount Sinai West.
Dr. Bhardwaj is a Fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Society of Family Planning. As a passionate advocate for comprehensive reproductive health care, Dr. Bhardwaj has testified before the New Mexico State Legislature and serves on the ACOG Committee on Health Care for Underserved Women. She is also a former recipient of the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education. Her research interests include contraceptive counseling and consent, and access to abortion and contraception.
Dr. Bhardwaj completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University. She worked in the field of mental health prior to receiving her medical degree from Rush Medical College. Dr. Bhardwaj completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. She went on to complete both her fellowship in family planning and a Master of Science in biomedical science at the University of New Mexico, subsequently joining the faculty at Mount Sinai.
