About Me
Dr. Neha S. Dangayach, MD, MSCR, FNCS, FAAN, FANA, FCCM, FCCP is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery, Neurology, Rehabilitation, and Human Performance at the Mount Sinai Health System. She serves as the Research Director for Neurocritical Care and Recovery and Systems Director for Neuroemergencies Management and Transfers (NEMAT). In 2025, she will resume her roles as Fellowship Program Director and Unit Director for the Neurosciences ICU (NSICU) at Mount Sinai Hospital. She also co-leads The Mount Sinai Hospital Wellbeing Committee. Dr. Dangayach is an advocate for patient-centered care, collaborative success, positive thinking, innovation and interdisciplinary teamwork.

- Stroke care systems to prevent fragmentation of care
- Resilience and spirituality in recovery after critical illness
- The role of social media in medicine
She is the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Dangayach NEMAT Lab, which develops technological solutions to deliver compassionate from triage to recovery for neuroemergencies and fosters interdisciplinary mentorship.
