About Me
Dr. Neil Lester joined the Mount Sinai faculty as Assistant Professor of Radiology in 2011. In 2012 he was appointed Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.
He is a ABR Certified radiologist with an additional Certificate of Advanced Qualification in pediatric radiology. He attended the University of Southern California and then Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Lester was chief resident at Staten Island University Hospital. Following residency, Dr. Lester subspecialized in pediatric imaging at Children's Hospital of Boston.
Dr. Lester is an author and contributor in the radiology and medical literature. He has presented scientific and educational exhibits at both national and international meetings, including the Radiologic Society of North America and the International Society of Pediatric Radiology. Dr. Lester is the director of the pediatric radiology elective rotation at the Icahn School of Medicine and is actively involved in teaching both residents and medical students.
