Dr. Trubelja, Director ofCardiology Outpatient Services at Mount Sinai West Hospital, received his medical degree from University of Zagreb School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center. Dr Trubelja continued his academic training with a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center followed by fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Prior to assuming current role he was an Associate Director of Mount Sinai Heart and Vascular Center Midtown and Director of Cardiovascular Imaging at Mount Sinai Heart and Vascular center Midtown.
Dr. Trubelja's clinical interests include general clinical cardiology, critical care cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases,Comprehensive Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and ARDMS Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
Dr Trubelja is a Fellow of American College of Cardiology and active member of American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is also recognized by The International Association of Cardiologists as a Top Cardiology Specialist in New York.
