Nicole Nadell, PsyD

About Me

Dr. Nadell is an Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Nadell earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Post Campus where she had a specialization in family violence. Prior to joining the faculty at Mount Sinai, she completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Metropolitan Center for Mental Health, where she specialized in the treatment of high-risk adolescents and children. Dr. Nadell also completed specialized postgraduate training and supervision at Ackerman Institute for the Family. She completed her Pre-Doctoral Clinical Psychology Internship at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health.

Dr. Nadell has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient psychiatric units, and outpatient clinics providing individual, group, and family therapy. Dr. Nadell’s clinical specialties include severe psychopathology in adolescents and young adults, family therapy, trauma, and relationship/interpersonal issues. She will continue to develop these interests as a faculty member through her clinical work and research. Dr. Nadell previously served as Director of Psychology Training at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center and a clinical supervisor in the APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Pre-Doctoral Internship Program and the Psychology Externship Program.
