About Me
Nicole Kiess is a board certified physician in both Family and Sports Medicine. Born and raised on Long Island she traveled to outside of Philadelphia to attend undergrad at Villanova University. She spent her gap year between undergrad and medical school working as a Research Assistant in the Oncological Sciences department here at Mount Sinai. Following her gap year she attended Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Middletown, New York. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Massachusetts Fitchburg Family Medicine Program where she was Chief Resident in her final year. After residency, she completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Boston University where she was the team physician for all of the Terriers' Division I athletes. Additionally she was involved in the care of the Boston College football team during fellowship and was also a physician at the Lake Placid Ironman and Boston Marathon.
Dr. Kiess has a passion for preventative medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), and the non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries particularly musculoskeletal ultrasound procedures including injections, tenotomies, and platelet rich plasma (PRP). When not working she enjoys cooking, traveling, training for the NYC Marathon and spending time with her family, friends and dog.
