Dr Rughwani cares for patients in the ambulatory geriatric clinics at two Mount Sinai campuses (Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Morningside. Patients are primarily high risk and vulnerable from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds who present with complex medical and social issues. She is also the medical director of the Mount Sinai Morningside Outpatient Geriatrics and Palliative Care Medicine and is responsible for developing new initiatives to provide high quality of care to patients in the practice. She has been at Mount Sinai for 20 years.
