About Me
Dr. Pallapati Anusha Rani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her research focuses on developing novel therapeutic strategies, including antibodies and small molecules, for chronic diseases such as osteoporosis, obesity, Huntington’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Pallapati has extensive expertise in therapeutic antibody development, naïve immune library generation, protein misfolding and characterization, and RNA aptamer technology. She specializes in bioanalytical method development, IND-enabling preclinical studies, and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) activities under Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) conditions. With a strong background in cell biology, molecular biology, and immunology, she has led advancements in cell-based potency assays, immunoassays, and biologics development. Certified in both GLP and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Dr. Pallapati is committed to maintaining high scientific and regulatory standards in her research. In addition to her scientific contributions, she serves as a reviewer and editor for several prestigious journals, contributing to the advancement of biomedical research.
