
Pamela Del Valle
About Me
Pamela Del Valle is a PhD student in the Neuroscience multidisciplinary training area at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Pamela is currently in the labs of Drs. Deanna Benson and George Huntley, where she focuses on the role of the peripheral nervous system in melanoma progression. More specifically, she studies the impact of a common Parkinson's Disease-related mutation on autonomic innervation and melanoma development. Her thesis project is in collaboration with Dr. J. Javier Bravo-Cordero, an assistant professor at the Hematology and Medical Oncology Department at the ISMMS.
