Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Likelihood to Recommend Care Provider
Dr. Ahilan was very thorough. He had Reviewed past visits and health concerns and went over results of EKG and explained how the lung disease interacts with heart, blood pressure etc. He advised about staying hydrated and taking low dose aspirin. When we were leaving, he had a nurse get a wheelchair to help me because that day the outside temperature was very hot, and he wanted me to get safely into the car. Exceptional kindness and concern for my wellbeing!! Thank you, Dr. Ahilan and all the staff!!
