
Parul Jain
About Me
Parul Jain is a postdoctoral associate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is interested in understanding the neural basis of behavior, particularly in humans, and in developing tools and technologies to assist in its pursuit.
At Siani, she works closely with Drs. Daniela Schiller, Jennifer Foss-Feig, Xiaosi Gu, and Ignacio Saez to understand the neural mechanisms of psychiatric diseases. Her work encompasses a broad range of topics in the field of affective cognition, including the hippocampal maps associated with social interactions, mechanisms and treatment of misophonia, and social cognition in autism spectrum disorder.
