About Me
Dr. Frank received his BA degree from Vassar College in 1991 followed by one year of postgraduate study in genetics and biochemistry at Columbia University. Dr. Frank attended New York Medical College (NYMC) where he earned his MD degree and several awards. He was the recipient of a Fellowship Award (1993), a three-year NYMC Trustee Merit Scholarship (1993-1996), and the Dr. Mrs. David Harrison Scholarship Award (1996). Dr. Frank was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (1995) and graduated magna cum laude from NYMC. Dr. Frank is board certified in dermatology and he is licensed to practice medicine in New York.
He is a renowned expert in tumescent liposuction and in-depth experience in procedural dermatology, Dr. Frank has opened his private practice to residents interested in learning state-of-the-art techniques. Impressively, he started a cosmetic dermatology clinic at Bellevue Hospital as a volunteer Clinical Instructor-a first for the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at Langone Medical Center. Since 2000, he has been the director of the Resident Clinic at Bellevue. From 2010-2011, Dr. Frank was on the Board of Directors of the American Society for Cosmetic and Dermatologic Surgery.
He is the author of several peer reviewed articles and book chapters. Dr. Frank frequently delivers lectures on tumescent liposuction and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Paul Frank serves on the Dermatology Voluntary team as an Assistant Clinical Professor and his expertise and superb teaching abilities are utilized for mentoring dermatology residents and fellows.
