About Me
Peter Fanti, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and laborist at Mount Sinai West and an Assistant Professor in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Fanti served as the Director of Labor and Delivery at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. Dr. Fanti earned his medical degree from Jacobs School of Biomedical Science at the Unviersity at Buffalo in Buffalo, NY. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Fanti has contributed to peer reviewed articles on topics such as surgical autonomy, neonatal outcome in cesarean section, and expansion of patient access to effective postpartum contraception.
Dr. Fanti is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
