About Me
Peter Kozuch, MD, is a Medical Oncologist and the Site Director for the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mount Sinai West. He is also the Co-Chair of the Mount Sinai Health System Disease Focus Group Gastrointestinal Oncology Multidisciplinary Program and an Associate Director for the Health Syste's hematology and medical oncology fellowship program. His practice is dedicated to the multispecialty care of people with cancers of the digestive tract such as esophageal, stomach, liver, pancreas, small bowel, colon, rectal and anal cancers. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Hematology.
Dr. Kozuch’s research involves the practice advancements and effort of colleagues in diagnostic radiology, surgical pathology, radiation oncology, colorectal surgery, surgical oncology and hepatobiliary surgery. He has been productive in the conception, funding, patient accrual, data analysis, data presentation and ultimate publication of several novel chemotherapy regimens. As both a lead investigator and principal investigator, he has completed several clinical trials and is engaged in the successful implementation of all active protocols. His research has been widely published in many peer-reviewed publications and he is an invited lecturer and presenter.
Dr. Kozuch is consistently listed among New York Magazine's "Best Doctors." New York Magazine is excerpted from Castle Connolly's annual guidebook, "Top Doctors: New York Metro Area."
