About Me
Peter Raimondi is a New York native Cardiologist with a patient-focused and evidence-based approach to clinical care. He practices in office and hospital based settings ranging from preventative care to complex disease. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is also board certified in Adult Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT), and Interpretation of Vascular Imaging (RPVI).
He obtained his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where he was the recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship. Following medical school, he trained in internal medicine at Boston Medical Center where he cared for a diverse and underserved patient population. Dr. Raimondi returned to New York to complete his training in cardiovascular disease at Northshore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center of Northwell Health where he published research and led conferences pertaining to cardiac CT and echocardiography.
Dr. Raimondi enjoys learning about each of his new patients in order to create an individualized care plan and answer any questions they may have about their diagnoses. Additionally, he participates in the education of residents and fellows at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital.
