About Me
Dr. Philippa Cheetham joined Mount Sinai as a Urologist in 2016. After graduating with her doctorate degree from the University of Bristol, Dr. Cheetham remained in England to complete both her Surgery and Urology residencies at Oxford University. She then moved to Columbia University Medical Center in the United States for her two fellowships in Urology and Medical Oncology, respectively. With her certification by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Urology, Dr. Cheetham's clinical interests include integrative and holistic medicine, management of prostate cancer, and neurological conditions affecting the bladder. Additionally, Dr. Cheetham can communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.
In her professional community, Dr. Cheetham is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American Urological Association, the European Association of Urology, and the Foundation for Advancement of Minimally Invasive Surgery. She also has conducted cancer research and is a published author.
Outside of her time with patients, Dr. Cheetham is a frequent guest on television and radio stations across the country, including Fox News. She is a weekly cohost on Katz's Corner Live Radio on men's health and urology and hosts her own television show, Cure Connections.
