About Me
Dr. Prakash Krishnan of Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has a dual academic appointment as Professor of Medicine - Cardiology and Radiology. He also serves as the Director of Endovascular Interventions at The Mount Sinai Hospital's Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and is Co-Director of the annual Live Symposium of Complex Coronary & Vascular Cases. In addition, he is the Director of Mount Sinai’s Peripheral Interventions Live Web Cast, a monthly interactive presentation of a complex endovascular case that is broadcasted live on the web teaching interventional cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons around the world the latest data, approaches, and techniques in the management of peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
Dr. Krishnan has earned and maintained board certifications in the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, and Endovascular Interventions; and the State University of New York Medical License.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a well recognized leader in his field, and often invited to lecture at both national and international conferences.
