About Me
Dr. Priyanka Singh is Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology. She is the Associate Director of the Motility Program for Anorectal Disorders and Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and practices at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West campuses. She practices general gastroenterology with a unique focus on treating patients for constipation, defecatory disorders, fecal incontinence and other gastrointestinal motility disorders.
Dr. Singh received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine residency training program as well as a Gastroenterology fellowship training program at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. During her fellowship, she was selected to receive additional training on functional gastrointestinal and motility disorders through the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society.

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Dr Singh spent a great deal of time answering my questions. She is a very knowledgeable and compassionate physician.
Between past tests and current explanations, the doctor was able to come up with a good starting plan, and explained a few possibilities of what might be going on.
My experience is that Dr. Singh listens to what you have to say concerning your medical history, with the offer of what can be done and the procedure that Is used to find out what's happening in this medical crisis.
