About Me
	Rachael Stevenson, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and hospitalist at Mount Sinai West in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
	
	Dr. Stevenson is committed to providing the highest level of care to her patients. Her aim is to provide evidence-based and patient-centered care with a focus on empowering women to be active participants in decision making regarding their health. She strives to provide compassionate and conscientious care regardless of age, race, sexual orientation, or gender identification and prioritizes open and honest communication. Dr. Stevenson’s clinical interests include complete obstetrical and gynecological care, well woman care, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, family planning, and contraceptive counseling.
	
	Dr. Stevenson is also strongly passionate about medical education and the teaching and training of OB/GYN resident physicians. She believes that a team approach with multiple perspectives is not only vital to the expansion of the scientific practice of medicine, but also essential to providing the highest quality patient care. During her training, Dr. Stevenson won multiple awards that recognize her commitment to teaching as well as her excellence in minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Stevenson joins Mount Sinai after serving as Assistant Professor and an attending obstetrician and gynecologist at Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Stevenson earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Mount Sinai West.
Dr. Stevenson is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
