Rachel Brozinsky, MD
Pediatrics
About Me
Dr. Rachel Brozinsky has practiced Pediatric medicine since 2016. After completing her undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University, Dr. Brozinsky graduated cum laude with her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She then moved to The Icahn School of Medicine where she completed both her internship and residency in Pediatrics. With her certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Brozinsky works with a wide range of children, and has special experience with children with special needs. During her residency, Dr. Brozinsky observed the struggles that both parents and pediatricians faced when navigating the special education system in NYC. Taking this experience, she developed a guide for providers to help them advocate more effectively for families and children with special learning needs. Additionally, Dr. Brozinsky is bilingual and can communicate with her patients in English and Spanish.
In conjunction with her clinical work, Dr. Brozinsky serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at The Icahn School of Medicine. She is also the Root Cause Analysis Chair with the risk management team at Mount Sinai Queens, where she focuses on quality and safety in patient care by working to reduce error and maintain professional excellence throughout the hospital. Dr. Brozinksy is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and, in 2018, was honored with the Cullman Family Award.
When discussing her time in medicine, Dr. Brozinsky says, "My favorite part of being a pediatrician is having the opportunity to get to know entire families, help them have healthy lives, and watch them grow."
